Office also Word, Excel, Powerpoint Dokumente lassen sich nicht direkt aus Windows Mail oder Windows Live Mail öffnen, mit Fehlermeldung “Der Datei ist kein Programm zur Durchführung der Aktion zugeordnet”

Im konkreten Fall wurde jeweils mit Windows Mail von Windows Vista sowie mit Windows Live Mail versucht Word-Dokumente aus einem E-Mail Anhang zu öffnen.

Es kam immer zur Fehlermeldung

Den Vorschlag mit der Zuordnung festlegen probiert, brachte aber nix. Das naheliegendste Eine Reparatur der Office Installation brachte leider auch nichts.

Eine Suche in der Microsoft Knowledge Base war leider auch fruchtlos, trotz des Versuch mit der englischen Variante:

Die brachte wenigstens noch was für Powerpoint zu Tage: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971603. Aber leider nichts für das konkrete Word Problem.

Ich hatte früher schon mal über ein solches Problem bei Powerpoint 2003 berichtet. http://newyear2006.wordpress.com/2006/07/20/probleme-mit-direktem-offnen-von-ppt-oder-pps-dateien-aus-outlook-express/. Über diesen Link kommt man auf die Seite http://windowsxp.mvps.org/ppsopen.htm und diese hat mittlerweile Links zu dem Problem auch für Word und PDF-Dateien auf der Seite http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/232/1/Unable-to-open-DOC-attachments-from-Windows-Mail.html.

Auf der Seite Winhelponline gibt es also eine kleine Datei docfix_1_3.zip welche das Problem dann behob! Allerdings sind solche Lösungen nicht mein Fall, denn ich würde gerne Wissen was die tatsächliche Ursache für das Problem war. Also noch etwas weitergeforscht und siehe da:

Das Problem war der Eintrag

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.doc\(Default) in der Registrierung der auf REG_SZ doc_auto_file stand und nicht auf Word.Document.8

Zusätzlich musste noch HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.doc\Word.Document.8\ShellNew\FileName auf REG_SZ winword8.doc gesetzt werden und alles war gut!

Auf einem anderen Rechner wo das Problem generell nicht auftrat, gab es übrigens die beiden Registry Keys gar nicht! HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Classes\.doc\(Standard) stand einfach auf (Wert nicht gesetzt) und HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.doc\Word.Document.8\ShellNew hatte einfach keinen Eintrag für Filename!

Zeilenabstand bei Word 2007 ändern

Viele Umsteiger von Word auf die 2007er Version tun sich regelmäßig schwer mit dem neuen Zeilenabstand. Viele Benutzer können das Verhalten oftmals auch nicht zuordnen, weil sie nicht zwischen neuen, leeren Dokumenten und bestehenden Dokumenten unterscheiden.

Dateien konvertieren

Hin und wieder hat man das Problem, dass man auf die Schnelle eine alte Datei konvertieren sollte.

Man könnte nun die alte Software in einer virtuellen Maschine installieren und mit viel Aufwand die Datei konvertieren. Aber im Zeitalter des Webs gibt es zum Glück auch Webdienste die so etwas übernehmen können, solange es keine sicherheitsrelevanten Daten sind.

Unter http://www.webpdf.de findet man einen Dienst der z. B. noch alte AmiPro .SAM-Dateien in PDF konvertieren kann, die dann wieder über die Zwischenablage Word oder Writer zugeführt werden können.

Office 2007 Installation bricht unter Windows XP SP3 mit Fehler 1933 ab

Auf einem Rechner der frisch Windows XP mit Service Pack 3 aufgespielt bekommen hatte und noch nicht aktiviert und somit noch nicht updateberechtigt war, sollte Microsoft Office 2007 installiert werden.

Die Office Installation schlug aber immer fehl und machte sich wieder rückgängig. Ungefähre Meldung: „Einige geschützte Windows-Dateien konnten nicht aktualisiert werden. Setupfehler. Rollback für die Änderungen wird ausgeführt…“

Das Problem war eine Frontpage 4 Komponente die Datei Fp4autl.dll. Immer wenn diese installiert werden sollte, hatte Windows etwas dagegen. In der Windows Ereignisanzeige waren dazu weitere Infos gespeichert: Fehler 1933. Einige geschützte Windows-Dateien konnten nicht aktualisiert werden. Dann noch die SFP Fehlernummer 1223.

Die Komponente die installiert werden sollte war das „Softwareupdate für Webordner“. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=de&FamilyID=17c36612-632e-4c04-9382-987622ed1d64

Wenn man dieses von Hand installierte wurde die selbe Fehlermeldung erzeugt aber XP forderte jetzt wenigstens das Einlegen der XP-CD an.

Aber es geht auch ohne XP CD. Der Artikel http://forums.techarena.in/office-setup/851813.htm beschreibt eine Methode wie man die FP4AUTL.DLL Datei direkt von der CD einspielt. Dazu geht man in das Verzeichnis \ROSEBUD.DE-DE und öffnet die RBUDLR.CAB-Datei. Darin befindet sich die gesuchte Datei, diese kopiert man nun einfach ins Verzeichnis C:\PROGRAMME\GEMEINSAME DATEIEN\MICROSOFT\WEBSERVER ERWEITERUNGEN\40\BIN (oder so ähnlich). Es kommt noch eine Rückfrage vom System wo man entsprechend beantwortet.

Danach funktioniert das Einspielen des Softwareupdate für Webordner und somit auch die komplette Office Installation.

Commandline Parameter in Excel 2007

Angaben wie man Commandline Parameter oder Kommandozeilenparameter in Excel übergeben kann gibt es kaum. Die meisten Beispiele die im Internet herumgeistern beziehen sich noch auf Excel97. Doch leider funktionieren die einfachen Methoden mit neueren Versionen von Excel nicht mehr.

Wer aber z. B. in einer Batchdatei auf bestimmte Parameter reagieren will braucht folgenden Code:

Der Grund warum es mit dieser Methode funktioniert ist ganz einfach die Funktion GetCommLine, die benutzt nicht einfach den ermittelten Wert, sondern kopiert ihn mittels CopyMemory-API Aufruf sauber in einen String. Damit ist man die Schutzverletzungen los, die bei den älteren Lösungen auftauchen.

Fehlermeldung beim Öffnen von DOC-Dateien in Word 2007

Beim Öffnen von mit Word erstellten DOC-Dateien sieht man den DOC-Dateien nicht an mit welcher Version diese erstellt wurden.

So kam beim Öffnen eines bestimmten Dokuments die Fehlermeldung: Sie versuchen, einen Dateityp zu öffnen, der in einer früheren Version von Microsoft Office erstellt wurde. Das Öffnen dieses Dateityps in dieser Version wird durch die Registrierungsrichtlinieneinstellung blockiert.

Die Meldung suggeriert man muss nur eine Einstellung ändern und schon kann man auf die Datei wieder zugreifen. Es wird auch noch gleich ein KB-Artikel http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=922850 mitangegeben.

Dort ist nun allerdings die Rede davon, dass Word 1.0 und Word 2.0 Dateien nicht mehr mit Word 2007 geöffnet werden können! Und in dem Fall muss es sich um Word 2.0 Dateien gehandelt haben.

Was tun? Anstatt einen Konverter anzubieten läßt MS den Kunden im Regen stehen. Zum Glück gibt es aber OpenOffice, einfach unter www.openoffice.org die aktuelle Version herunterladen. Der enthaltene Writer kann alte Worddateien öffnen und erlaubt dann auch das Speichern im 97/2003er Format, welches dann wieder von Word 2007 verstanden wird.

Probleme bei Darstellung von E-Mails in Outlook 2003 und Outlook 2007

Microsoft hat sich bei Outlook 2007 dazu entschlossen E-Mails über die Word 2007-Rendering- und nicht mehr über die IE-Rendering Schnittstelle anzuzeigen.

Da die Renderingroutinen in Word bei weitem nicht so ausgereift sind wie beim IE, resultieren daraus einige Darstellungsfehler bei designten E-Mails.

Dauernde Neukonfiguration beim Start von Word 2007 oder Excel 2007 wenn noch alte Versionen parallel installiert sind

Hat man verschiedene Versionen z. B. von Word auf einem Rechner installiert, so kann sich der Start von Word 2007 ziemlich in die länge ziehen und es wird einem was von einer Konfiguration erzählt.

Das Problem taucht nur dann auf, wenn wechselweise mit einer alten Word Version und der aktuellen Word 2007 Version gearbeitet wird.

Daneben kann auch eine nachträgliche Installation von z. B. Excel 2003, wenn bereits ein anderes Office Programm z. B. Word 2007 installiert ist, dazu führen das gemeinsam benutzte Komponenten Schwierigkeiten machen!

Im Falle von Sharepoint 3.0 können sogar keine Dokumente mehr in die Dokumentenbibliothek gelegt werden.
